Claudia studied singing with Daphne Evangelatos and song interpretation with Donald Sul zen and Helmut Deutsch at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. In addition she attended master classes with Irwin Gage and Deon van der Walt. From 1995 to1998 she was a member of the opera school of the Bayerische Theaterakademie. She received grants form the Deutsche Bühnenvereins and the Munich Rotary Club. Apart from song recitals and concerts she also sings opera. Among other roles she sang Cherubino („Le nozze di Figaro“), Hänsel („Hänsel und Gretel“) and Nancy („Albert Herring“). She was engaged at the Prinzregententheater and the Cuvilliéstheater in Munich and the Landestheater Innsbruck. During the season 1998/99 she was

accepted as a member of the „Junge Ensemble“ of the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. In addition she was a guest of several festivals, such as the Musicade Lyon, the Schwarzwald-Musik- Festival and the Expo 2000. Concert engagements took her to Innsbruck, Vienna, Berlin, Leipzig, Madrid and Israel.
