Vanessa Barkowski
The singer born in Detmold studied voice in Hamburg with Judith Beckmann, and afterwards in Berlin with Ute Trekel-Burkhardt. She received several prizes in singing competitions. She has worked together with conductors such as Helmuth Rilling, Sylvain Cambreling and Vladimir Jurowski. Her busy concert activities at home and abroad have led her, among other places, to Milan, Venice, Rome, Paris, Krakow and London. In autumn she will be making her debut at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich.
