The Ceruti Ensemble of London
The exciting ensemble was formed at
the start of this new millennium by violinist Oliver Lewis with the specific intention of
unearthing and bringing before the public a vast array of sadly neglected and little known
chamber music composed over the last 300 years. Consisting of some of the finest musicians
in the world, the Ceruti Ensemble of |London's flexible formation has seen them breathing
renewed life and vigour into everything ranging from single solo instrumental works right
up to full blown chamber works for over twenty players. This recording is their tribute to
one of England's greatest and most individual twentieth Century composers, Sir Malcolm
Arnold, now in his 80th year
Clockwise: Oliver Lewis, Maya Bickel, Miranda Davis, Robert Bailey, Mavin
McNaughton, Dave Lee, Andy Findon
