Nicholas Chalmers

was born in 1977 and was a chorister at Tewkesbury Abbey, from where he gained a Music Scholarship to Hurstpierpoint College. In 1996 he was appointed Organ Scholar at Chichester Cathedral. Whilst at Chichester, he was on the assistant music staff at the Prebendal School, before being appointed Organ Scholar at Lincoln College, Oxford in 1997. With Lincoln College Chapel Choir he has toured Britain, Italy and Cyprus. Nicholas is also currently conductor of the Oxford Chamber Choir. He studies conducting under Ralph Allwood, and organ under David Sanger.
