The Choir of The Queen's College Oxford
The choir of The Queen’s College enjoys a reputation as one of the finest mixed-voice choirs in the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. During term-time it provides the music for services in the College’s glorious Baroque chapel. It presents concerts regularly in Oxford, elsewhere in the UK, and abroad, and has broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4. Tours in recent years have included the U.S.A., Sri Lanka, Portugal, Spain, and France. The choir consists of sixteen undergraduate Choral Scholars, two graduate Lay Clerks, and other students from Queen’s and elsewhere. During the academic year it provides the music for regular services in the College’s fine eighteenth-century chapel. Its concert schedule involves appearances in many parts of the UK and abroad, and it broadcasts regularly on BBC Radio. Tours in recent years have included the U.S.A., Sri Lanka, Portugal, Spain, and France. The choir consists of twenty undergraduate Choral Scholars, two graduate Lay Clerks, and other singers from Queen’s and other colleges.
