Miranda Davis - Viola
Miranda Davis was born in London and studied at the
Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal College of Music, where she won all the
viola prizes. In 1998 she won a Britten-Pears School Scholarship to take part in
masterclasses at Snape Maltings with William Pleeth and Daniel Benyamini. She continued
her studies under the latter in Tel Aviv, having won Scholarships to do so from the Martin
Trust and the Countess of Munster Trust. For six years she was a member of the London
Philharmonic Orchestra and now works freelance.
