James Davy Organ

James Davy was born in London in 1980.  He gained most much of his musical training as a chorister at Southwell Minster, and subsequently as Organ Scholar of Porstmouth and Durham Cathedrals successively - the latter whilst reading for a music degree at Durham University.  After graduation, he became that Assistant Organist of Winchester College and at the nearby Pilgrims’ School.  In 2004 he was appointed Organ Scholar at St Albans Cathedral where most of his work involved accompanying services and also gave him time to continue composing.
