Richard Edgar-Wilson - tenor

A tenor who has received acclaim as a soloist in concert halls and opera houses throughout Europe and North America, Richard has performed in many major works with leading conductors such as Richard Hickox, Charles Mackerras and Trevor Pinnock. As a recitalist he performs regularly, and was a featured artist in the 1995 Schubertiade at the Wigmore Hall. His recordings, apart from his Schöne Müllerin for Athene, include Stradella’s San Giovanni Battista with Les Musiciens du Louvre (Erato), Purcell’s Dioclesian with Pinnock (DG), and a solo disc of Eric Coates songs and Arne’s Artaxerses for Hyperion.
