Rosemary Field - OrganistRosemary Field studied at the Royal College of Music with the late Nicholas Danby, winning the major prizes for organ playing and written harmony. In 1986 she became Assistant Organist of Birmingham Cathedral where she founded and trained two voluntary choirs and the Cathedral Girls’ Choir. She was awarded the Tournemire Medal of Improvisation at the St Alban’s International Organ Festival. In 2000 Rosemary became Portsmouth Diocesan Music Adviser and Cathedral Assistant Organist, and in the same year received the ARSCM conferred by the Royal School of Church Music in recognition of her work with parishes.
