Andy Findon - Flute
Andy Findon is a freelance flautist who's career has encompassed
many areas of music, from commercial to classical. He is one of London's foremost session
players, recording for TV, film and albums on a regular basis. Recent recordings include
the scores for "Chocolat","Billy Elliot", "Chicken Run" and
"StarWars Episode 1" and album work for Joni Mitchell, Paul Mc'Cartney and Pat
Metheny among many others. He was acclaimed for his solo flute playing in Andrew
Lloyd-Webber's new musical production "The Beautiful Game". He has played with
all the London Orchestras and many Chamber groups and has been a member of the Michael
Nyman Band since 1981.
