Anthony Froggatt - Director Portsmouth Cathedral

Anthony Froggatt began his career as Assistant Organist at Guildford Cathedral. From there he was appointed Organist and Master of the Choristers at Portsmouth Cathedral, a post he held for thirteen years, and where he directed the choir in many television and radio recordings, as well as in several highly acclaimed recordings.

Since leaving the cathedral he has continued his career as an organist and percussionist, and visits many countries worldwide in his work for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.  During the year 2000 he directed the chapel choir at Magdalen College, Oxford. He has recently recorded music for violin and organ in Chichester Cathedral with the violinist Fuminori Shinozaki, concert  master of the NHK Symphony Orchestra in Japan.
