Gisela Gropper was born in Deggendorf and – already
during her school days at the St.-Michaels-Gymnasium in Metten – attended singing
lessons with Helmut Banzhaf, and later with Anton Rosner in Munich. At the moment, she is
studying solo singing under Prof. Gabriele Fuchs at the Munich conservatory. Prof.
Hans-Peter Rauscher (coaching) and Prof. Adalbert Kraus (oratorio singing) also are among
her teachers.
