Tim Hawes - Trumpet
In recent years Tim Hawes has travelled
extensively as a soloist. He has made several visits to Israel to play concertos with the
Israel Chamber Orchestra and during the year 2000 has toured Russia, Japan, Germany,
Slovakia and Austria. He played the Hummel Trumpet Concerto in the Eisenstadt Festival
2000, a concert that was broadcast throughout Europe. He also performed at the Hanover
Exposition. He gives recitals with organist Malcolm Rudland and Pianist Julian Gallant.
Tim was a member of the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble and is the director of OffStage
Brass. As a freelance player Tim plays with many of London's leading orchestras and
ensembles. He is also principal trumpet of the orchestra of LES MISERABLES, London.
