Carsten Husted -
Flute
studied music pedagogy and traverse flute in Bremen and Karlsruhe. With the desire for worldwide musical/cultural exchange of concert activity, he has been involved in premičre performances, radio, TV and CD productions as soloist and chamber music partner. At the same time he has crossed the borders between improvisation and interpretation, e.g. during the Círculo de Bellas Artes Madrid in 1994, the Swiss cultural days in Kiev in 1997, the "Probaltica" in Toruń and Warsaw in 1998, the New York City-Series in 1998, the Thomas-Mann-Festival in Nida (Lithuania) since 1998, the Treviso Festival in Italy in 2000 and the GAIDA-New Music Festival in Vilnius in 2001.He is instructor at the Music Universities Basel and Karlsruhe, guest instructor at the Fondation Hindemith Blonay (CH), the University of the Arts Bremen, the University of Rio de Janeiro and the National Music Academy Kiev and Vilnius. In 1993, he was commissioned to compose The Dream of the Rood, a sacred music drama, for the 12th Centenary of St. Albans Abbey. Carsten Husted on Guild Music
