Maria Jette
The
American soprano Maria Jette started her successful career as a specialist in
music of the 18th century. She performed, among others, with the “Saint Paul
Chamber Orchestra“, the “Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra“, the “Minnesota
Orchestra“, the Symphony Orchestras of Kansas City, Santa Rosa, Charlotte,
Austin and San Antonio as well as the “Portland Baroque Orchestra“. Under the
conductor Helmuth Rilling she sang Bach, Mozart and Haydn in
the US, Germany, Spain,
Venezuela, Japan and Canada. She regularly guests at the “Oregon Bach Festival“,
the “San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival“ and the “Plymouth Music Series of
Minnesota“. Her repertoire encompasses chamber music, oratorios and operas from
baroque re-discoveries to contemporary premieres.
