Jean Kelly - Harp

Jean won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, London where her teachers were Daphne Boden and Hugh Webb. She regularly tours with the Locrian Ensemble performing harp concertos and her own arrangements of Irish music and has recorded three CD’s with the group including recordings of Handel harp concerto and Mozart flute and harp concerto.

She is involved in ongoing nationwide concerts for Live Music Now! A young musician’s scheme set up by Yehudi Menuhin.

Jean also plays the Celtic harp She performed in Vienna and St.Petersburg providing music for plays devised by Boomerang Theatre Company and played on the soundtrack for ‘The Lord of the Rings’ film trilogy
