Elizabeth Franklin-Kitchen - Soprano II
A full-time member of the professional octet at St Bartholomew the Great, Smithfield (David Trendell), Elizabeth also appears frequently as a soloist with the choir of St Mary’s, Nottingham. She is a founder member of the renaissance octet Chapelle du Roi (Alistair Dixon), with whom she has toured the UK, Europe and the USA and with whom she regularly records. She has performed with The BBC Singers (Stephen Cleobury), The Oxford Camerata (Jeremy Summerly), The Geoffrey Mitchell Choir (Geoffrey Mitchell), The Curate’s Egg (Adey Grummet), The Clerks’ Group (Edward Wickham) and as a soloist with Schola Cantorum of Oxford (Mark Shepherd). She appears regularly with The BBC Singers (Stephen Cleobury), with whom she has taken part in several BBC Proms, and has recently recorded a CD of the music of Judith Bingham
Solo roles include Albinoni’s Magnificat and Stabat
Mater, Bach’s St Matthew and St John Passions and B Minor
Mass, Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation and The Seasons,
Mozart’s Requiem and Mass in C Minor, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater,
