Born in Singapore,
Pan Hon Lee was from 1980 to 1996 Leader of the Halle Orchestra in Manchester. Previous to
that he was Leader of the Ulster Orchestra. As soloist, he has performed most of the major
violin concerti with orchestras notably the Stravinskz and Britten violin Concerti. He has
also appeared as soloist and director in Vivaldi’s "Four Seasons". Since
1996, he has been working in London in the recording studios, in chamber music and as
Leader for various free-lance and established orchestra.
