Jonathan Lilley - organ & piano

JONATHAN LILLEY was appointed Assistant Organist at Ely Cathedral in September 2002, where he also serves as organist to The King's School, Ely.

Jonathan studied organ, piano, church music and choral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music, London. He has a degree in Performance Studies and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists.

Previous appointments were held at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle; Farm Street Catholic Church, Mayfair, St. Marylebone Parish Church, London and the University Church (Great St. Mary's), Cambridge.

Before coming to Ely he spent six years making music in and around Leeds, holding the position of SubOrganist at Leeds Parish Church and acting as choral director and accompanist for Leeds College of Music
