Johanna Maier
 Jahanna Maier was born in
Ingolstadt in 1978. At the early age of eight years, she learned to play the harp,
instructed by Mrs. Beate Fürbacher. In 1995 she changed over to Professor Helga Storck in
Munich. After her A-levels in 1997 she began to study harp in the class of Professor
Storck at the Munich Conservatory. Johanna Maier won one of the awards for the German
contest "Jugend musiziert" (Youth and Music) as well as the First Contest of the
Association of German Women Harpists. She participated in the Orchestra Academy of the
"Music Festival Schleswig Hostein" and in several other master courses.
