Tobias Müller-Kopp, baritone – Count Wallstein


He studied singing with Dietmar Hackel at the Berlin UdK and with Scot Weir at the Academy of Music, “Hanns Eisler” and took courses with Eric Schneider, Anita Keller and Wolfram Rieger. He was awarded the Interpretation Prize at the 8th International Singing Seminar at Burg Beeskow. He took master classes with Sergei Leiferkus and Peter Konwitschny in Berlin and participated as a concert and opera singer in numerous premières, among others at the Neuköllner Opera as well as the State Opera Unter den Linden and in international festivals e.g. in Rümlingen, Huddersfield and Lahore (Pakistan). His co-operation with the chamber ensemble for Neue Musik Berlin, the Deutsche Sinfonieorchester Berlin and the Lautten Compagney Berlin led to performances at the Berlin Philharmony and the Konzerthaus Berlin. Since March 2004 he performs as a guest at the theatre of Magdeburg.
