The Philharmonie Ingolstadt was created out of the internationally renowned Georgian Chamber Orchestra, which has been resident in Ingolstadt since 1990. Its numbers are strengthened as the need arises by members of the German Orchestral Academy in Ingolstadt, an ensemble that is comprised of highly-talented young musicians from all over Europe.
