Carl Rütti
*1949, grew up in Zug / Switzerland. Piano and organ studies at the Zürich
Conservatory. 1975 Soloist Diploma in both instruments. 1976 further studies in
London. Fascinated by the quality of English choir singing, he wrote large a
cappella works some of which were recorded and broadcast by the BBC Singers.
1999 Premiere of one of his works at the PROMS, London. Several CDs of his
music. Besides composing, regular concerts and recitals as a pianist and
organist.
