Salisbury Cathedral ChoirTHE CHORAL FOUNDATIONA group has been established under the auspices of the Dean and Chapter of Salisbury Cathedral with the objective of providing free places at the Cathedral School for boy and girl choristers. A successful appeal for half a million pounds to secure bursaries for girl choristers is coming to an end. But this is the beginning. not the end of the fund raising. Both the boy choristers and the girl choristers need to have sufficient scholarships to allow them to come to the Cathedral School and sing in the Cathedral choir. irrespective of their financial circumstances. Now is the moment to start the process of raising funds to enable musical children to come to Salisbury. irrespective of their parents' means.
