Claudia Schneider - Soprano
Claudia Schneider studied from 1993 to 2000 with Daphne
Evangelatos at the Academy for Music and Theatre in Munich, as well as song
interpretation with Donald Sulzen and Helmut Deutsch. For the 1998/99 season,
the mezzo-soprano was accepted into the “Junges Ensemble” of the Bavarian State
Opera. Claudia Schneider has worked, among others, with conductors such as
Siegfried Köhler, Gustav Kuhn, Karl-Friedrich Beringer and Helmut Rilling.
Together with the pianist Lukas Maria Kuen, she was awarded the first prize in
the competition “Förderpreis der Weidener Max-Reger-Tage 2002” in the subject
song duet in the year 2002.
