Ute Stoeklin - Piano


Ute Stoecklin, piano, born in Wilhelmshaven, Germany

studied at the Music Academy in Basel. As an international concert performer she focuses mainly on chamber music and song of the 20th century. Early in her life she had already concerned herself with contemporary tendencies in music, literature and graphic arts: in lecture and literary concerts, as author of musical contributions and concert introductions. Next to her collaboration with composers, her première performances, radio and CD rehearsals she is also involved in the publication of new music. Recently Ute Stoecklin has dedicated herself among other things to the reviving of musical works by the Swiss composer Meinrad Schütter (*1910) whose songs and piano compositions she has brought to public attention through her work as
