Gary Woolf Flute
Gary Woolf studied flute with Pat Lynden at the London
College of Music, and graduated having won many prizes for his flute playing, including a
Silver Medal awarded by the Worshipful Company of Musicians. Whilst at college, he took
part in master-classes with Geoffrey Gilbert, Trevor Wye, Clare Southworth, Wissam
Boustany, and Göran Marcusson. After his studies he lived and worked in London both as a
player and a teacher. He was principal flute with the London 20 Orchestra, and as a
soloist performed and premičred several concerti with them.
Gary is now residing in Germany, and plays most frequently in chamber music ensembles,
which has given him the opportunity to tour throughout Europe.
