Jeffrey Wynn Davies

wynndavj.jpg (10456 Byte)Artistic Director of the Association of British Choral Directors Millennium Convention, Jeffrey Wynn Davies continues to enhance his already established reputation as one of the North of England’s busiest and most versatile choral conductors. In addition to Canzonetta he directs the Manchester Chorale and Harrogate Choral Society - North Yorkshire’s largest amateur chorus. He has worked with Manchester Camerata, the BT Scottish Ensemble and other professional orchestras in major performances ranging from Monteverdi Vespers and the Bach Passions to Belshazzars Feast and the Britten War Requiem.

Jeffrey Wynn Davies is much in demand as a guest conductor and choral trainer, working for all of the major British choral organisations. He has directed seven regional choral events for the BBC, and also regularly adjudicates at choral festivals throughout the UK and Ireland. His summer Harrogate Choral Week, which draws singers from all parts of Britain, is now firmly established on the national choral calendar.
