This is an absolutely outstanding album of music by three of the greatest English masters of the early part of the 20th century - Ralph Vaughan Williams, Frank Bridge and Sir Hubert Parry.

Interestingly, all three works - RVW’s Mass in G minor, Bridge’s A Prayer and Parry’s Songs of Farewell - were composed within a few years of each other, making a fascinating contrast of styles which will all appeal to the same buyer.
