Andrzej Andrzejowski

This Polish composer wrote comparatively little in his brief life, but his works included a number of genre pieces for violin and piano, including this brilliant Burlesque, a true virtuoso piece in A major, which was written for and dedicated to Zonia Zofti, and which was posthumously edited for publication by the brilliant Polish violinist Eugenia Uminska. Full of the most wonderful effects, the impact of this piece is quite breathtaking.
