The compositions on this CD span 25 years. Some were written while
on tour, and most were requested by colleagues and friends, so there is an
autobiographical aspect to the collection which inspired the title. The beautiful painting
on the front cover is one of several she owns by her friend, John Horder.
Jennifer studied composition with Eric Thiman 1961/2, and it formed a major part of her
B.A. (Hons.) degree course at Bristol University.
