The Organ of Portsmouth Cathedral 1984

The following specifi cation relates to tracks 13-18
The main part of the organ was originally built in 1861 by John Nicholson for Manchester Cathedral. It was rebuilt,enlarged and installed in Portsmouth Cathedral in 1994, and the elaborate original case by Abraham Jordan of 1718 restored. A completely new Nave Division (West Great) was added in 2001, with striking artwork on the casework doors by Patrick Caulfi eld RA.
