Gnattali Radamés (1906-1988)

Biography of Gnattali Radamés:

We follow Assad’s Valsa with a three-movement work by the older Brazilian composer Radamés Gnattali (1906-1988), who led a distinguished career as conductor, orchestrator and arranger. His music is varied, exhibiting influences from 20th-century classical masters to popular styles, including jazz. His music is full of character, as we can identify in the three shorter genre pieces for guitar and cello, wherein Admir Doçi is joined by the distinguished Swiss cellist Mattia Zappa.
