Biography of Dall'Ollio Gabrielle:
Gabriella Dall’Ollio was born in 1965 in Bologna. Next to her harp studies with Anna Loro in Bologna, Verona, Paris and Würzburg, she attended master courses with Pierre Jamet, Jacqueline Borot and Fabrice Pierre. Since 1987 she is to be heard as a solo harpist among others of the Vienna Philharmonic, the Oslo-Filharmonien, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Opera House Orchestra Covent Garden, the Philharmonia Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. She played among others under the direction of Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Sir Simon Rattle, Mariss Jansons, Lorin Maazel, Sir Colin Davis, Michael Gielen, Sir Andrew Davis, Emmanuel
Krivine, Seiji Ozawa, George Prêtre and Leonard Slatkin, but has also recorded several solo and chamber music CDs. Gabriella Dall’Ollio is head of harp at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London.
