Biography of Maier Patrizia:
Born in 1967, Patrizia Meier studied from 1987 at the Winterthur Conservatoire. In 1991 she left her native Switzerland to complete her studies at Trinity College of Music with Sioned Williams. She achieved distinction in her post graduate diploma and was awarded a Fellowship at Trinity College of Music. Since winning the Park Lane Recital Award in 1995, she has embarked on a diverse freelance career. Patrizia Meier has played with many of the major London Orchestras, the Hallé and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, in chamber recitals and as a soloist, both in the UK and abroad. She has played in all the major concert venues and has broadcast regularly on BBC radio.
