Biography of Maszl Robert:
Born in Vienna in 1981, Maszl appeared as a soloist. At the age of nine Maszl already appeared as soloist with the Tamburizza Orchestra Ivan Vukovic in Parndorf/Burgenland. From 1999 on he took singing lessons with Joachim Moser (Vienna Volksoper). Since 2001 he has been studying solistic singing at the Conservatory of Vienna in the class of Hilda de Groote. He gained experience on the stage as a singer in the German-Croatian Singspiel Jahreszeiten einer Liebe (Seasons of Love) (Johann Maszl/Moser) and as adancer in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet at the Parndorf Kultursommer. Maszl participated in the Vocal Summer Academy, as a solo singer, in the Esterházy castle in Eisenstadt and in master classes for musical and solistic singing under the conductor Eva Maria Marold. Since 2002 he has been studying in the singing class of Sebastian Vittucci in Vienna.
