Philips Charlotte - Organ

Biography of Philips Charlotte:

Charlotte Phillips is currently Senior Organ Scholar at The Queen’s College, Oxford. During her time at Oxford she has accompanied the chapel choir on a BBC Radio 3 broadcast of Choral Evening Prayer from Portugal, and has also performed with the viol consort, Phantasm. She was educated at Wells Cathedral School where she studied organ, piano, harpsichord and voice. In her final two years at school she was Junior Organ Scholar at Wells Cathedral where she worked closely with the Cathedral choirs under the guidance of Malcolm Archer and Rupert Gough. Before coming to Oxford, Charlotte was Organ Scholar at St David’s Cathedral, Pembrokeshire. She has given recitals at venues including Wells, St David’s and Guildford Cathedrals, Magdalen College, Oxford Christchurch Priory and The Queen’s College, Oxford. Charlotte studies the organ with Stephen Farr.
