Biography of Sarasin Catherine:

The Swiss pianist Catherine Sarasin was educated at the Academies of Music in Basle and Lucerne. She was mostly influenced by her teacher Hubert Harry. Following the completion of her concert diploma, she continued her studies in the master class for song interpretation under Irwin Gage at the Academy of Music in Zurich. She attended master classes with Arie Vardi, Jürgen Uhde and Peter Feuchtwanger, and studied in depth the interpretation of early music. As a soloist, chamber musician and song accompanist she gives guest performances in the whole of Europe. Various radio and TV productions document her work.
The duo Miriam Terragni and Catherine Sarasin has been successfully working together since 2001.
