English baritone William Dazeley was born in 1966 and studied singing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, where he won several prizes. Dazeley is heard at all important opera houses of the world (Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Glyndebourne Festival, Berlin State Opera, Deutsche Opera Berlin, Th??tre du Ch?telet, Opera North, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, Th??tre de la Monnaie Brussels, Aix-en-Provence Festival, Salzburg Festival, San Francisco Opera, Bolshoi Theatre Moscow) and gives numerous song recitals, among others with the pianists Graham Johnson, Iain Burnside and Julius Drake. His wide concert and oratorio repertoire comprises works of Brahms, Bach, Durufl?, Elgar, Tippett and others. In concert and in the recording studio he has worked with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Sir Colin Davis, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Kent Nagano, Michael Tilson Thomas and Ingo Metzmacher.
