If the Aquinas Piano Trio doesn’t go on to become one of the most admired of its generation I really will eat my hat.’ (The Weston Mercury, October 2010) - Formed in 2009, the Aquinas Piano Trio has quickly established itself as one of the most sought-after chamber groups in the UK. All three members of the trio are solo artists in their own right, with a vast array of awards, performances and broadcasts between them. As a trio their repertoire spans the masterpieces of the classical and romantic era to the latest contemporary works. Their busy schedule has seen recent performances at King’s Place, London, St George’s, Bristol, the Leicester International Music Festival and the Holywell Music Room, Oxford. Future engagements include a recital at the Wigmore Hall in 2015. The Aquinas Piano Trio’s growing list of recordings continues this year with two new releases: the Saint-Saëns trios for Guild Records and the Mendelssohn trios produced by Andrew Keener.
